US CEO's Upbeat on Economy and Benefits of SOX
What we have been seeing in our work, finally is getting reported. Second and third year SOX filers have seen improvements in their financial reporting and like the changes in internal controls. They would never have done it without the legislation, but now they are happy with the results.
You get out what you put in. Those companies who have really embraced this effort, have seen the benefits. Those who have just followed the letter of the law probably just spent money.
